preparing for your tattoo appointment
Take zinc vitamins days leading up to appointment. Helps with swelling and aids with quicker heal time.
Get a good night sleep.
24 hours before appointment, avoid caffeine and alcohol.
Stay hydrated and eat before your appointment. Bring water and a snack.
Moisturize your skin.
Dress for your session. Be sure the area being tattooed is easily accessible. Bring a blanket if you would like.
Tattoo Aftercare

Leave this bandage on for at least one hour or up to 5 days.
Your tattoo will continue to weep, so build up in the bandage is normal.
Bandage is waterproof, but you still want to refrain from submerging.
Once bandage is removed, begin cleaning twice a day with warm water and unscented soap.
Gently pat dry then apply a thin layer of ointment or healing butter for the first 4 days then switch to unscented lotion or body oil for 2 weeks.
Bactine can be applied between washes to help with stinging.
Do not submerge in water or direct sunlight for at least 2 weeks.
Your tattoo will itch and peel much like a sunburn, do not itch or pick.
